We already have information about financial results of the municipal hospitals and diagnosis - consult centres on the territory of Sofia Municipality by the end of the first nine months of the year. That is what deputy mayor of Sofia Municipality in charge with Finance and Economic Activity and Municipal Healthcare, Doncho Balabanov, said for BNR.

“7 out of 14 municipal hospitals in Sofia Municipality report positive financial result by the end of the first nine months of the year, as 20 out of 29 diagnosis - consult centres report either positive or zero result,” Balabanov said.
He expressed an opinion that it was good result in view of the fact that it wasn’t an easy year for the healthcare in general.

Balabanov said that not financial state, but also social effect were taken into account in reporting the results.
