Bulgaria declares warning code for Thursday over strong wind

Sofia. Code Yellow has been declared in 18 Bulgarian districts for Tuesday, January 12, over strong wind, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology with the Bulgarian Academy of Science announced.
The districts in question are Montana, Vratsa, Sofia District, Sofia City, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Shumen, Dobrich, Varna, Burgas, Yambol, Haskovo, and Kardzhali.
The wind is expected to blow at a speed of 15 to 20 metres per second.
Code Yellow means the weather is potentially hazardous.
