Interior Ministry reports lower criminality and improved crime detection

According to statistics issued by the press center of the Ministry of the Interior, the number of officials with police power in this country is 27 463 persons, the 5 158 border police officers included. As a result of the activity of the Ministry of the Interior statistics register a decline of 84.8% of the rate of crime (number of crimes per 100 thousand people). According to preliminary data for 2015, there are 107 870 crimes registered, 10.5% of which in the economy sphere. Overall criminality in the period has gone down by 5.4% on 2014. The level of detected crimes in 2015 has gone up and detected crimes have been 45 281 (42%) compared to the 42 837 (37.6%) in 2014.
