President Plevneliev gathers today predecessors for Presidential Council

The Council of Presidents is to sit today for the fourth year in a row at the initiative of the Head of State Rossen Plevneliev. The initiative was launched on January 22, 2013, when President Plevneliev invited his predecessors to meet on the occasion of the first year since his stepping into office. The creation of such an advisory body was one of his 40 pre-election engagements, proclaimed on the Internet page of the presidential administration. For the first time the Council will gather only three heads of state after the decease of the first democratically elected Bulgarian President Zhelyu Zhelev, who left us on January 30, 2015.
