Bulgaria President to hold consultations with Bulgarian Democratic Centre

President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev officially launched the traditional Month of Political Consultations with the parliamentary represented political parties on Monday.
The Bulgarian Head of State already met with the leaderships of the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV) and Ataka parties.
President Plevneliev is also due to meet with the Patriotic Front, the Bulgarian Democratic Centre (BDC), the Reformist Bloc, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), BSP Left Bulgaria and mandate-holder Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB)
The consultations will be focused on the priorities of the parliamentary groups for 2016.
President Plevneliev, on the other hand, will raise the following issues for discussion:
- Current political situation in the country and perspectives;
- Measures that will be continued in 2016 in connection with the reforms in the fields of justice and internal order; fight against corruption; administrative reform and electronic government; healthcare; education; pension reform; reform in the water sector;
- Other measures within the implementation of the strategic goals and priorities of Bulgaria 2020 National Development Programme and the start of the preparatory works on Bulgaria 2030.
Rosen Plevneliev will hold a meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian Democratic Centre (BDC) on Wednesday, March 2.
