Bulgaria social minister agreed strengthening bilateral relations with Liechtenstein

Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for Demographic and Social Policies and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Ivaylo Kalfin met with Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Justice, and Economy Thomas Zwiefelhofer, the press office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced.
“There are many opportunities for strengthening the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Liechtenstein,” the Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister said after the meeting.
“We start cooperating in the field of encouragement of start-ups of high-tech and innovative business initiatives. We also discussed the possibilities for Bulgaria to use the good practices of Liechtenstein in the establishment and management of financial instruments for start-up businesses and provision of initial capital,” Mr Kalfin said further.
During the talks with Minister Zwiefelhofer, the two officials discussed the development of the dual education in both countries.
Thomas Zwiefelhofer was impressed by the policies undertaken by Bulgaria in terms of its introduction and proposed experts with the two countries to hold meetings to exchange experience and good practices.
Liechtenstein has set traditions in the development of duel education, as several high-tech companies in the country prepare experts through a combined work and education methods.
Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for Demographic and Social Policies and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Ivaylo Kalfin is the first representative of the government invited on an official meeting with Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein.
During the meeting Alois showed interest in strengthening the partnership ties between the two countries.
Mr Kalfin, on the other hand, put an accent on the stable economic situation in the country and pointed out that Bulgaria’s 2015 economic growth was among the highest in the EU.
