Every protest should cause concern to us: Bulgaria economy minister

“Every protest should cause concern to us; I hope no production facilities and factories will be closed,” said Bulgarian Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski, speaking in front of journalists at the National Assembly, FOCUS News Agency reported.
The minister was referring to the information Bulgartabac was suspending its production and sale of products for the Middle East as of April 1, which is expected to negatively affect the purchase of Bulgarian tobacco products, and to the protest of Bulgarian tobacco growers in support of the company.
“A meeting will be held today between protesters, associations of tobacco producers, the Bulgartabac company. All kinds of problems will be discussed there and I hope there will not be prolonged protests,” the official commented.
In his words, the state is doing its best to find a solution.
