Alpha Research: Bulgarian PM continues enjoying 32% voter support

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov continues enjoying the support of 32% of the voters. Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova and Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policies Tomislav Donchev, on the other hand, are outlined as the most successful members of the cabinet.
These are the results of the regular quarterly independent public opinion survey of Alpha Research agency carried out on June 8-14, 2016.
Boyko Borisov, Prime Minister and leader of the mandate-holder Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB), is the only leader of a political party to keep such a position during a second cabinet and within such parliamentary structure.
Minister Lilyana Pavlova keeps her top position in terms of approval rating for the ministers with the cabinet but also gains certain negatives because of the increase of the price of the vignette stickers and the quality of certain construction works and thus gives in the first position to Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev in the general hierarchy.
Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov, Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev, Minister of Environment and Water Ivelina Vasileva and Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov register a positive trend, too. They enjoy slighter but stable positive balance in the assessment.
There is a group of ministers, namely those with difficult portfolios, burdened with high expectations, many-sided interests, who accumulate higher public discontent. These are Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov, Minister of Health Petar Mosvkov, Interior Minister Rumiana Bachvarova, Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski, Minister of Education and Science Meglena Kuneva.
