A company from Liechtenstein to buy Technomarket

A company from Liechtenstein will be the new owner of the Technomarket chain of hypermarkets after the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) allowed Domtech Holding AG to acquire direct sole control of K&K Electronics JSC, Bulgaria. The decision will enter into effect immediately.

K&K Electronics JSC operates on the retail markets of household appliances, wholesale trade in these and ancillary services (transport, maintenance, repairs). The company runs the Technomarket chain of 55 rented retail outlets in the country and is an exclusive supplier for Bulgaria of the Samsung, Panasonic and LG brands.

Domtech Holding will not operate on the same or a neighbouring market with K&K Electronics. Therefore, the deal will not have an impact on any other market.

CPC has allowed the concentration because the transaction is not expected to change the structure of the markets on which the acquired business operates.
