Tourism minister: New contracts on beach concessions should provide demarcated space of parking lots

 “Terrains demarcated for parking lots should be outlined in the new procedures on rendering beaches on concession.”
This is what Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said speaking with journalists while in the coastal city of Burgas commenting on how the problems with the parking at the beaches would be solved, Radio FOCUS reporter said.
“Unfortunately, we are faced with such a problem when it comes to parking lots in private terrains. It is absurd for the tourists to have to pay fees, which are not legally regulated. I hope that next year there will not be any parking lot permits issued because there is allowed pedestrian access,” Ms Angelkova remarked. 
The minister reminded that under the Black Sea Development Act there should be free pedestrian access to the beaches.
“We will require beach management plans every year so as to monitor these elements, which are highly important for everyone,” Nikolina Angelkova said further.
