Горещо препоръчвам книгата на бившия естонски премиер Март Лаар (допринесъл много за икономическия успех на Естония). В книгата Лаар проследява историята на региона – от идването на червената армия и комунизма, през десетилетията борба за свобода и възстановяването в периода на прехода.
