Vanity fair 's list of best dressed peoplepresent the  ladies and gentlemen best dressed in the world for 2011 year.In everything from a classic white shift to a trench paired with cropped jeans, the women on this week's best dressed list have mastered the art of understated elegance for summer's final hurrah.
Rounding out the fashion A-list are Aishwarya Rai, who killed it in an architectural Armani Privé two-piece, and badass Tilda Swinton, who worked the pants off of this Haider Ackerman ensemble with her fierce 'tude.
