Tsvetanov fires Kalinka Pencheva

Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov signed an order to dismiss the speaker of the Regional Directorate of Interior - Varna, Kalinka Pencheva, the press centre of the Interior Ministry announced. The most severe disciplinary sanction is imposed because the employee breached the Code of Ethics and Conduct for civil servants at the Ministry. For such a breach of the official discipline, according to Art. 227, para. 1, item 10 of the Law for the Ministry of the Interior, in connection with Art. 230, para. 2, item 4 of the Ordinance for Application - acts incompatible with the ethical rules of conduct for civil servants in the Ministry of Interior, which undermine the prestige of office, provides for the disciplinary sanction "dismissal" and termination of service in the Ministry.
