Deadline for the sale of BDZ Freight Services to be extended

The deadline for the purchase of tender documents in the procedure for the sale of 2,325,087 shares of BDZ Freight Services will be extended until 5.30 p.m. on January 7, 2013, the Privatisation Agency announced. These shares represent 100% of the capital of BDZ Freight Services Ltd., Sofia, owned by Holding Bulgarian State Railways JSC. The extension is granted due to letters received from potential investors requesting some additional time to complete the documents in connection with the Christmas and New Year Holidays. The other deadlines in the tender procedure will also be extended. The deadline for submission of documentation of compliance will be 3 p.m. on January 28, 2013, and the deadlines for purchasing an information memorandum and a certificate of registration will be February 18, 2013. Binding offers will be submitted no later than 3 p.m. on March 12, 2013. The deposit for participation amounting to €20 mln, or the equivalent in BGN, will have to be paid by that date as well, PPCA announced.
