Condition of Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics athlete Tsvetelina Stoyanova still critical after fall from the 6th floor

21-year old member of the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics team, Tsvetelina Stoyanova, is in critical state after fallen off a high-rise building in Nadezhda residential building in the capital on Tuesday.
Tsvetelina Stoyanova was rushed to Pirogov University Hospital for Active Treatment and Emergency Aid in critical state but in consciousness.
Medical team in the emergency ward found that the young woman suffered so-called polytrauma – i.e. was subjected to multiple traumatic injuries in more than one anatomic area.
She suffers injuries of the chest, abdomen and spine.
One of the best medical teams treated her. She underwent urgent surgery due to rupture of the spleen that caused major bleeding. Her spleen was removed. The state of Tsvetelina Stoyanova remains very serious.
