Frontex deployed additional forced along Bulgaria’s border to Turkey, Serbia

 European agency for the management of operational cooperation at the external borders Frontex increased the number of officers deployed at the border of Bulgaria to Turkey to 77 more people, while at the border of Bulgaria to Serbia – to 35 people, the press office of the European Commission (EC) Representation to Bulgaria announced.
The commissioning of additional Frontex forces, as required by Bulgaria, will continue over the next weeks.
Frontex responded positively and rapidly to the request and decided to expand its operation in Bulgaria along the land border to Turkey and Serbia. 
The additional officers will be positioned over the net weeks.
