The Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria opposes the introduction of the EU uniform tax rate

Bulgaria supports the introduction of a uniform tax base but opposes the introduction of a uniform tax rate within the single EU market, according to the resolution of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria adopted yesterday on the occasion of the Single Market Act. Currently, Bulgaria has an advantage related to its tax rate. "If uniform rates are imposed, our competitive advantage will diminish,'' said the Chairman of the Board, Professor Lalko Dulevski.
