Dental offices for the socially disadvantaged to be launched in Sofia

It is highly likely that dental offices for the socially disadvantaged will be launched in Sofia, the Bulgarian Dental Association assured. They are fully supported both by the leadership of the Bulgarian Red Cross and the Municipality.

The idea includes dentists who will make available their labour and skills to the needy for free and treat them the same way they do in their private clinics and offices. Currently, plans provide for offices for socially disadvantaged people only in the capital city.

President of the Association Dr. Ventsislav Stoev suggested that offices should be located in some of the already existing clinics. They will be equipped according to all modern requirements that are also met by private dental practices as well. This includes modern furniture and a full range of tools and supplies. "I will be happy if we can cover other cities, too," concluded Dr. Ventsislav Stoev.
