Bulgaria PM: EU must show that can cope without the UK

 “I respect the decision of their people, although from now on they will be severely divided. The European Union must show that it can cope without Britain”. That is what Prime Minister Boyko Borisov told journalists commenting on the UK decision to leave the EU. 
"I think it is right when they chose so – they should be allowed to decide their fate alone. We can begin to think of Europe without them. No negotiations for special status or things of the kind should be held because it will break the Union," Borisov said. 
Asked whether it is likely to get to a domino effect and the referendum in the UK to trigger referendums in other European countries, Borisov said: "If a domino effect occurs, then Bulgaria, Romania and Greece will remain." 
According to the Prime Minister, the EU becomes weaker with the UK leaving, and this will affect our country.
