Dogan: We aim at staging early elections

The creation of conditions for early elections is one of the main political goals of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, stated the party leader, Ahmed Dogan when speaking in the village of Valnari, Shoumen region during at a pre-election campaign rally on Monday evening. He was there together with his deputies - Aliosman Imamov, Rushen Riza and Hristo Biserov as well as with the lawmakers Iskra Mihaylova, Nigyar Dzhafer and Tchetin Kazak. According to Dogan, if the current policies continue for another two years, "we will not be able to explain to our children, how we were able to allow this to happen."

The MRF leader accused the GERB government that it had turned its "arbitrary policy making and strategy for instilling fear as well as its political juggling" into an example. He also pointed out that it was high time for the Bulgarian state to start functioning and developing normally, but in order this to happen, the ruling party had leave. "The GERB government has failed in every respect, because the party was unprepared. It also lacked any concept for the country's governance since it came to power as a result of an emotional vote, " commented Dogan. He reminded that during the previous government, more than €25 bn in foreign investments were infused into the state Treasury over a four-year period. "We also had accumulated over BGN 8 bn in the fiscal reserve," added Dogan. He also concluded that at present this reserve was depleted by half. According to the MRF leader, currently GERB has been making "a parody of politics."

"Regarding the upcoming presidential vote, I would like to say that we could only dream that some real president might be elected," stated also the MRF Chairman.
