The bomber at the airport was a kamikaze

It was proved that the man who carried out the terror attack at the Burgas airport was a suicide bomber, BNR informed quoting Georgi Iliev, investigator from the National Investigation Service in Bulgaria. Bulgarian authorities have already sent Israel their questions to some of the eyewitnesses of the explosion, who had not been able to witness in the first hours after the bomb attack. “After the survivors are investigated by the Israeli authorities, their evidence will be sent to Bulgaria and will be attached to the materials to the case,” Iliev explains. According to him, some of the witnesses, who were treated in Bulgaria, took medicines which prevented them from giving reliable evidence immediately after the attack. Iliev expects that the investigation may continue between three and five years.
