Kozloduy NPP deducts due by the state

 The Kozloduy NPP won’t pay this year to the state its dividend of nearly EUR 20 mln. The reason is that the National Electricity Company /NEK/ owes to the nuclear power plant nearly EUR 45 mln. for the electricity it has received. The dividend will be deducted from the debts of NEK, in order for enough money to remain for the expansion of the two 1,000 megawatt units’ work, Director of Kozloduy Ivan Andreev said for the BNR. He informed that most of the activities on the expansion of the 5th unit’s resource had already been executed.
