Tsetska Tsacheva: The National Assembly needs a new hall

“We must ensure normal working conditions for MPs in the plenary hall,” Parliament’s Chairwoman Tsetska Tsacheva said on BNR (Bulgarian National Radio) yesterday regarding the ideas to save money from the project for building a new National Assembly Hall.

“We should already have the self-confidence of a European country and consider carefully which savings will be useful and which investments will bring us additional savings,” said Tsacheva.

She also commented on the sharpened political struggle in the country. According to her, the attacks against GERB will not stop because of the imminent elections this year.

“I’m maximally close to what the Bulgarian citizens wish for - a consensus, unanimity in the main political objectives but, unfortunately, this cannot be achieved, if we want to be realistic about this,” said Tsacheva.
