Bulgaria's exports to Slovakia increase by 10.5%

In 2010, the export of Bulgarian goods to Slovakia increased by 10.5%, while imports from Slovakia to our country were up by 7.8%. The figures were reported at a meeting of the Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Slovakia in Bulgaria Peter Kovach with Tzvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber for Commerce and Industry, yesterday. Conductors, petroleum oils, metals, metal parts, textiles and products of the food industry are the main commodities which our country exports to Slovakia. Slovakian imports consist of telephones, television sets, machines for information processing, foodstuffs, paper and pasteboard, articles of the paper industry, pharmaceuticals.
In June, a Slovak business delegation will visit the city of Varna. Slovak companies will be presented at the International Fair in Plovdiv and a Bulgarian business mission is scheduled to visit the city of Bratislava in October.
