CEZ has invested over BGN 550 mln in the Bulgarian electricity distribution network

For the seven years since CEZ entered the Bulgarian market, the company has invested over BGN 550 mln in the maintenance and development of the electricity distribution network in Western Bulgaria, announced today, Petr Dokladal, Regional Manager for CEZ Bulgaria JSC. The investments have been made in compliance with the programme approved by SEWRC (State Energy and Water Regulatory Committee). As a result of them, for the period 2005-2012, CEZ managed to reduce the losses of 21.5 % to 14.2 % and to improve the quality of the provided service.

Yesterday's official meeting was attended by Petr Dokladal, Regional Manager for CEZ Bulgaria JSC, Stefan Apostolov, CEO of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria JSC, Zhanna Pehlivanova, Director of Marketing and Sales department at the CEZ Electro Bulgaria and Radoslav Dimitrov, CEO of Customer Service department at CEZ Bulgaria JSC. The business organisations were represented by the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIB), the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA), Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA), the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC) and the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Power Engineers (BBCPE). During the meeting, they discussed the opportunities for effective partnerships and options for improving the business environment in our country.
