The International Music Academy Orpheus carries on the idea of an encounter of a “large-scale cultural collaboration”. Together with leading European Universities and artists of the international musical scene, they are building the connecting lines between the music of the Danube area and the young generation of musicians from South and Central Europe.

In some of these concerts, the Orpheus Academy Orchestra, based on the brilliant young musicians, will present the results of their intensive repertoire study. The highlights are the Concert Performances, with the Orpheus Academy Orchestra having renowned professors and selected students as soloists. Music should play a role in opposing the impending spiritual desert.

Mario Hosen began playing the violin in Bulgaria. He made his debut as soloist with Orchestra at the age of eight. His work with prominent performers and music pedagogues like Frischenschlager (Vienna), Gerard Poulet (Paris) lent an important impetus to his musical career.
