Companies' ratings to be developed according to four criteria

The rating system of Bulgarian companies will include four basic criteria, Bozhidar Danev, Executive President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) told Focus Information Agency. The first criterion is related to investment, the second has to do with financial indicators, showing whether production volumes are increasing, and the fourth criterion is the number of jobs, Danev explains. He pointed out that part of the information necessary for the creation of the rating system was available in the National Insurance Institute.

The rating system, which will evaluate the Bulgarian companies as of next year, will be online-based and thus accessible to the public, Bozhidar Danev stressed. However, he also mentioned that data collection would be difficult.

The selection for the companies' rating would be made according to a number of criteria, such as gross domestic product (GDP), turnover and the number of employees in the respective company.
