Adil Al Shanfari acquires more than 29,000,000 voting shares of Investbank

The Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) responsible for Banking Supervision issued an order approving the acquisition by Adil Saeed Ahmed Al Shanfari of 29,761,905 voting shares of Investbank. The transaction will increase Investbank’s capital by 24.93% to meet the recommendations of the BNB’s Banking Supervision department. Adil Al Shanfari has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, Colorado and currently serves as Vice President of the Shanfari Group of Companies, which has more than 2,500 employees. The information about Adil Al Shanfari and his occupation was officially confirmed by a letter from the Central Bank of Oman to BNB.
