Levon Hampartzoumian is Manager of the Year

The 2012 Manager of the Year award was awarded to Levon Hampartzoumian, CEO of UniCredit Bulbank and Chairperson of the Executive Board of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria. He received the award at a ceremony attended by President Rosen Plevneliev. The competition was held for the fifth time.
“I am very excited and surprised to receive this award. As a manager, I can say that I have the chance to work with a very good team. I would like to tell everyone else in this room and outside that we should not compete with our past but with the rest of the world. Therefore, we should run as fast as it does,” said Hampartzoumian when receiving the award.

Ten businessmen heading large companies with an annual turnover of over BGN 20 mln qualified for the final round of the competition.

In addition to the grand Manager of the Year award, three more prizes were awarded. Zoya Paunova, Marketing Company President of AstraZeneca Bulgaria, received a special award for sustainable business results. The award of the audience, decided via online voting on bTV, went to the CEO of M3 Communication Group Maxim Behar. The award Mission for the Benefit of Society, established for the first time this year, went to BNT.
