Director: National Military History Museum organises Doors Open Day over Father’s Day

For the fifth year in a row, the National Military History Museum will celebrate the Father’s Day with many events and a Doors Open Day. That is what director of the National Military History Museum, Assoc. Prof. Sonya Penkova said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency , commenting on the Father’s Day initiative.

"The Father’s Day is a special day for the museum because the fifth edition of the Father's Day coincides with the 100th anniversary of the museum. Again there will be many activities and for the first year we will provide entertainment for babies – a baby sitting room," Assoc. Prof. Penkova said.

“We will show modern equipment of the Bulgarian Army. These are military vehicles – Hammer, Zetros off-road truck for extreme operations, Actros ,Unimog that Bulgarian army used in missions in carrying out their responsibilities, as well as off-road ambulance, also participated in missions abroad, training ejection seat that last year enjoyed a lot of interest, " said she.
