Two of the reports from the internal inspections after school-leaving exams to be referred to Prosecutor’s Office

“Signals about violations are highly important. We will carry out inspections in the future, too because the purpose of the Ministry of Education and Science is to govern transparently, with high discipline and order.”
This is what Deputy Prime Minister for European Policies Coordination and Institutional Affairs and Minister of Education and Science Meglena Kuneva said speaking at a press conference organised to present the results of the internal inspections started over signals for violations filed by NGOs, the press office of the ministry announced.
Ms Kuneva informed that two of the reports would be referred to the Prosecutor’s Office.
The first inspection is on the overall corruption risk at the Centre for Control and Assessment of the Quality of the School Education. It was about a signal that expert in maths Madlen Hristova with the centre is a teacher of seventh grade pupils, which is not allowed.
The second report concerns the identical projects under the procedure Support for Pre-School Education and Preparation of Children in Disadvantaged Position.
