Minister Meglena Kuneva: We are discussing new later dates for national external evaluation

We are discussing new later dates for the national external evaluation. According to the new law new dates for the students after seventh grade will be between 15 and 20 June and for the students after fourth grade will be in the end of May or in the beginning of June. These changes will not be implemented immediately, but after the approval of the state educational standard for evaluation of the results. This said Minister of education and science Meglena Kuneva after a briefing in Shumen.
“I have called the rector of the University in Shumen to strengthen programmes in pedagogy”, commented Kuneva, explaining that the lack of specialists in these programmes will lead to problems in the country in the future. She also added that the Ministry has ensured grants and scholarships for student in pedagogy.
