World’s biggest passenger aircraft first time visit to Sofia

 Lufthansa’s Airbus A380 is flying to Sofia airport for the first time for a four hour stopover. The largest passenger aircraft in the world will have a special flight from Frankfurt to be presented to journalists and guests of the German airline company.
The A380 arrives in Sofia on 16 October, official aviation day and day of the Bulgarian air forces. To mark the occasion an open-doors day will be organized at Vrazhdebna airbase near Sofia – the best location to watch the landing of the aircraft which is 73 meters long, 24 meters high with a wing span of 80 meters. For those wishing to fly on board the A380 to one of the four destinations the airline company offers in North America – Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco -  a return ticket will cost 380 euro.
