A total of BGN 2.5 mln to be allocated for privatisation expenditures

The Agency for Privatisation and Post Privatisation Control will have the amount of BGN 2.5 mln at its disposal to complete the divestment process.

The Government is expected to approve the account of the agency today. The money will be used for the payment of privatisation intermediaries, for consultancy services, drafting of privatisation valuations, due diligence, information memoranda of companies subject to privatisation, for the implementation of activities for post-privatisation control, collecting amounts due from damages awarded, fines, penalties and defaults, resulting from legal cases conducted by the agency.

The expected revenue from privatisation of state assets amounts to BGN 124 mln for 2012, according to the reasons for the decision.
