Turkish Airlines launch regular flights to Bulgaria

“Turkish Airlines will operate regular flights from Bursa to Bulgaria,” Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Bulent Arinc said on BNR. According to him, the Turkish city of Bursa and its residents have a pressing need for direct flights to our country. So far, there were flights only to Ankara and from there, via a transfer, to Germany.

However, Bulent Arinc did not specify either when the flights between Bursa and Bulgaria will be launched or the airport in our country where the aircraft will land and take off. The Transport Ministry could not specify the airport either.

Many Bulgarian immigrants live in Bursa and the Turkish air carrier has ordered new planes for 60 passengers in order to service the new air routes from the airport in Bursa.
