Mobile phone subscriber charged for conversations with himself

A subscriber of mobile services to an unnamed operator was charged for a roaming call with himself, posted bTV. According to the received statement, the client had even sent several short text messages to himself. The user often detected errors in the prints, which he received and challenged his bills. After the delivery of the strange invoice the man again tried to dial his own number but the phone gave a busy signal and he was not able to connect with himself. The billed amount is less than BGN 2 but it demonstrates that operators often make mistakes and it questions the credibility of other bills, which are being sent to customers.

Officials from the company which provided the mobile services commented that such an error occurred often in printouts when the subscriber is abroad. According to the company, it comes down to roaming charges for incoming calls in Hungary. They added that the problem referred to the international roaming systems which is a worldwide problem.
