He added that the GERB government usually received more negative ratings, but the summer season brought about some positive attitudes. According to Simeonov, GERB has good electoral prospects. In terms of individual politicians, the public confidence rating is topped by Kristalina Georgieva who is supported by 56% of the respondents. She is followed by Rosen Plevneliev with 42% and by Boyko Borissov with 40%. An overall of 39% of the surveyed place their confidence in President Georgi Parvanov, who outranks Meglena Kuneva with 36% and Yordanka Fandakova with 31%.

On the question for the future prospects of Bulgaria, nearly 60% of the respondents reply that the situation is deteriorating. In March, this percentage was 65% and it reached 63% in April, May and June. Only 25% of the polled believe that our country has better future. In fact, 35% of the respondents believe that the overall economic situation in Bulgaria over the next 12 months will deteriorate, while 30% think that it will remain the same. Almost every fourth surveyed is optimistic about the economic situation.
