Metalworkers from the Lead and Zinc Complex PLC-Kardzhali to be employed by the factories in Madan and Plovdiv

An agreement has been reached with GORUBSO-Madan JSC and the Non-ferrous Metals Smelter (KCM SA) - Plovdiv to provide temporary employment for the metalworkers of Lead and Zinc Complex Plc – Kardzhali. This became clear yesterday after the meeting of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov with the Chairman of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria (CITUB) Plamen Dimitrov. The Prime Minister promised to secure transport for the workers to the company selected by them. Prior to that, Borissov shared on Nova TV his intention to have a new meeting with the protesters. Unfortunately, over BGN 300 mln are needed, but the investors are very difficult to negotiate with. Regarding the contention in the Blue Coalition, the PM stated: "I cannot understand why we think that what is happening between DSB (Democrats for Strong Bulgaria) and UDF (Union of Democratic Forces) is so dramatic''. According to him, both major parties, whose leaders intend to come to power, should tighten discipline and work. In response to the question as to who he prefers as rival - Sergei Stanishev or Georgi Parvanov, the Prime Minister replied: "The former is known for the replacements of his officials and the latter for granting pardons. There is no difference." The escape of the Galevi Brothers should not surprise anyone in Bulgaria, reckoned Borissov. According to him, the Interior Ministry, as well as the Prosecutor's Office, have collected precise, clear and strong evidence in order to sentence them. Sooner or late,r we will catch them and send them to Sofia Central Prison, said the PM.
