Bulgarians - among the pessimists in EU on the household budget

Bulgaria is among the seven EU countries with the most pessimistic expectations about the financial situation of households in 2013, showed an analysis of Eurostat. The European statistics also reported that every fourth EU citizen lives in financial difficulties. The Greeks are most pessimistic about next year - every second respondent has shared bad expectations for the financial future. The citizens of Hungary, Malta and Portugal follow in terms of pessimistic forecasts. Bulgaria is also in this group of pessimists, along with Lithuania and Italy, the level of pessimism being below 40%.

According to the survey, the financial situation is most difficult for the Bulgarians, Greeks, Latvians, Romanians, Spaniards, Portuguese and the residents of Cyprus. The most optimistic about their financial future next year are the citizens of Denmark, Norway and Luxembourg. People in Poland, Belgium, France, Germany and the Czech Republic are in the golden mean, or the group of realists.
