Bulgarian Democratic Center parliamentary group falls apart

 The parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Democratic Center (BDC) has dissolved after five of the MPs including National Assembly Vice President Yavor Haytov have left the group as a token of disagreement with a resolution of the group’s majority for changes in the line-up of parliamentary committees. The remaining 9 MPs’ number is below the margin of at least 10 MPs for the existence of a parliamentary group. In this way all BDC MPs become independent and lose their positions in the leaderships of the National Assembly and of parliamentary committees.
