Bulgaria PM inaugurates Rose Museum in Kazanlak

“It is a policy of the government to offer active cooperation everywhere something new needs to be done,” said Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, speaking at the inauguration of the Rose Museum in the town of Kazanlak, Radio FOCUS reported.
PM Borisov inaugurated the new Rose Museum in Kazanlak on Sunday.
The museum was built due to funding at the amount of BGN 1 million provided by the state and covers an area of 1,200 m2.
The building is multifunctional.
There will be a special hall for smelling scents, a patio for doing demonstrations of rose brewing, conference halls, a multimedia hall, a children’s corner, and a panorama café.
Mr Borisov expressed his gratitude to the foreign ambassadors in Bulgaria who were among the official guests to the Rose Festival in Kazanlak on Sunday.
The Prime Minister said he was happy with the things done in Kazanlak, which were also done in every other town.
He specified it was a policy of the government to offer active cooperation everywhere there was a signal something new needed to be done.
Borisov said the rose was a symbol also of their “opponents”, referring to the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).
He wondered why it had not occurred to them and they had not done their best to build a museum of that symbol.
“They are welcome in this museum as it belongs to everyone,” the head of government added.
