Bulgaria reports BGN 21.753 billion GDP in Q2 2016

 According to the flash GDP estimates for the second quarter of 2016, the GDP at current prices amounted to BGN 21.753 billion.
GVA in the second quarter of 2016 amounted to BGN 18.538 billion.
In the structure of GDP by the expenditure approach the largest share has the final consumption (77.7%), which in nominal terms amounted to BGN 16.894 billion. In the second quarter of 2016 gross capital formation is BGN 4.689 billion and has a share of 21.5% in GDP. The external balance (exports minus imports) has a positive sign.
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the second quarter of 2016 is 0.7% compared to the previous quarter. Gross value added increased in the second quarter of 2016 by 0.4%.
According to the flash estimates by final expenditure the GDP growth in the second quarter of 2016 is determined by increase in the final consumption with 0.4% and in the gross fixed capital formation with 0.4%.
