Vladimira Yaneva hospitalised for treatment

The Chairwoman of the Sofia City Court (SCC), Vladimira Yaneva was hospitalised for treatment in the University Hospital Alexandrovska аnd cannot appear before the Commission for Conflict of interest with the SJC (Supreme Judicial Council), announced yesterday the Judicial Council, which had scheduled the hearing of the judge on the criminal proceedings against Sofia Real Estates SPLTD. On Friday, Yaneva sent a letter to the senior magistrates notifying them of her disease.

Yaneva had to appear before the Commission for Conflict of Interest due to the released facts that in 2002 she, as a representative of her father, purchased two properties from Sofia Real Estates SPLTD, while seven years later she had to hear the case against the company's manager Toshko Dobrev. On June 22, the SJC Inspectorate established four violations in terms of the deadline of the case the date for which has not been scheduled yet.
