According to exit poll forecasts, Yordanka Fandakova won in the first ballot round in Sofia

The GERB nominee Yordanka Fandakova won the mayoral elections held in Sofia after the first election round, according to the election forecast results as of 8 pm yesterday. According to the exit polls, she has received a bit over 50% of the votes in Sofia, while her main opponent George Kadiev won a little over 22%. The Blue Coalition candidate, Proshko Proshkov was supported by about 12% of the Sofia electorate.

According to the prognosis exit poll results, Nikola Pehlivanov from the Ataka party won 3.2% of the local vote, while Vladimir Karolev from NMSP received about 2.7%.

At  5 pm, electoral activity in Sofia reached 33.60% during the local ballot, announced the Sofia Municipal Election Commission.
