2Faced Dance returns with a triple bill of darkly explosive new break-infused contemporary dance works from critically acclaimed choreographers Tom Dale, Place Prize finalist Freddie Opoku-Addaie and 2Faced Artistic Director and DanceXchange Associate Artist Tamsin Fitzgerald, exploring themes of decay and destruction.The company, which received rave reviews for their show Still Breathing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, will present In The Dust - a series of dark, athletic experimental dance performances. The pieces are the result of a collaboration between 2Faced’s artistic director Tamsin Fitzgerald and guest choreographers, nationally renowned dance artist, Tom Dale and choreographer in residence at the Royal Opera House, Freddie Opoku-Addaie.

The performances explore the themes of decay and destruction from three distinct stand-points. Bold, adrenalin fuelled moves are combined with agility and grace as the dancers try to push their physical boundaries to the limit. The Hereford-based company are one of the UK’s leading all male, urban contemporary, dance companies. Founded in 1999, they produce a range of work which combines athletic contemporary dance with daring break-dance moves.

Cool enough for kids, and smart enough for the cognoscenti, 2Faced Dance challenge the staid stereotype of modern dance.Formed in 1999, 2Faced Dance is the company in residence at the Courtyard Centre for the Arts, Hereford. 2Faced Dance Company are also available for corporate engagements and have extensive workshop packages available. The all male company is individual in its approach to dance. It believes in the versatility of a dancers skills and talents and the unique energy that this can bring to a performance. The company was founded by Artistic Director, Tamsin Fitzgerald, and since its creation has become one of the UK's leading dance companies. Combining break, street and contemporary dance with elements such as parkour, acrobatics and ballet the company have gained wide acclaim.

Tamsin trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Tamsin's recent credits include, 'Chasing Fate' a musical directed by Christopher Key, a co-collaboration with Hofesh Schechter for the Birmingham International Dance Festival, and the Caesar Twins West End.
