The residents, living close to the burning tobacco warehouses in Bulgaria’s Plovdiv were evacuated, no information for injuries

The residents of "Ivan Vazov" str. In the southern bulgarian Town Plovdiv where the burning tobacco warehouses are located were evacuated. There is no information for injuries , Radio "Focus" – Plovdiv reported.
Seven teams firefighters are trying to extinguish the flames engulfing the tobacco warehouses on the. "Ivan Vazov"str. in Plovdiv. The fire is covering the roof of the two buildings and continues to expand. Two police teams are on the site and are diverting traffic as the area was sealed off. The situation is complicated, fire crews operate simultaneously on the both sides on the roof of the burning warehouses.
Dozens of residents of the city had gathered at the scene. Some commented that another emblem of the city will be destroyed, while others were worried that firestorm may extend beyond the perimeter. The area of the fire on the "Ivan Vazov" str. is very smoky.
"The fire crews are making strenuous efforts to master the critical situation," said for Radio "Focus" the spokesman of the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" in Plovdiv. "It is expected that the damage will be significant," he added. It is unknown what is the cause of the fire in tobacco warehouses.
