Deal on 26% of M&BM Express signed

The deal for the acquisition of a 26%-stake in the Bulgarian Postal operator - M&BM Express - by Austrian Posts was officially signed.  The Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Gerhard Rayveger and Minister of Transport, IT and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski were official guests at the ceremony.

The deal includes an option for acquiring an additional 25% stake in 2013 and another stake in 2014, up to a ceiling of 76%.

M&BM Express, established in 2005, is a leading alternative provider of postal correspondence on the Bulgarian market and was entirely liberalised in 2011. The company is a market leader in the field of hybrid mail. With a staff of nearly 2,500 people, M&BM Express delivered about 75 million shipments in 2011, some 65 million of these - hybrid mail.
