Georgi Parvanov, ABV: Horizon before ABV-BSP relations are the presidential elections

 “Horizon before the relations between the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV) and the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) are the presidential elections.”
This is what ABV Chairperson Georgi Parvanov said speaking in an interview with the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
“We greet these 20 organisations within the BSP and the leader of the party – Korneliya Ninova, for the successful and winning nomination, which led to natural unification. There were very strong candidates from both parties. General Rumen Radev is an uncompromising figure with his behaviour, professionalism, statesmanlike thinking and actions. He is a candidate that can not only unite us but also bring us success at the presidential elections. However, what is more important is to be a good president,” Mr Parvanov remarked. 
Asked whether the current unification between the two parties may have a broader perspective, Georgi Parvanov explained: “I would like to clear out the speculations – the horizon before the relations between the ABV and the BSP parties are the presidential elections. There is no place for concerns. It is certain that at the parliamentary elections we will be in two streams heading in one direction, we will not oppose each other, which was the case at the past three or four elections.”
