Ivaylo Moskovski: All buses in the country will be inspected

“On Monday, I will issue an order for the inspection the entire bus fleet in the country. I suppose this will take about two to three months because the last inspection was in February 2003. I am sure that most of the buses which are now travelling will be stopped and some will be scrapped,” Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski said yesterday.

Carriers will be encouraged to renew their bus fleet “in reasonable limits that the budget allows”. The tax relief for the purchase of new vehicles will depend on the negotiations with the Ministry of Finance.
