CEBD deputy chair Tsvetan Tsvetanov: We should suspend practice of university graduates faced with no professional realization

“We should suspend the practice of having university graduates faced with lack of possibility for professional realisation.”
This is what Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Deputy Chairperson of the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) party and Chairperson of the CEDB parliamentary group, speaking at the opening of a round-table discussion themed Higher Education and Science in Bulgaria – Quality and Perspective, organised by the CEDB Association, FOCUS News Agency journalist reported.
“In the first place, I would like to thank that today’s meeting was held at the Bulgarian parliament because when we speak about education and science, the business-education-local power ties, everything is up to the legislation and whether it can be improved and serve everyone actively involved in this process,” Mr Tsvetanov explained.
In his words, it is important that representatives of the parliamentary group of the CEDB, who are members of the parliamentary committee on education, are always very active and aimed at establishing real dialogue.
“What is highly important is that we should always have this connection, which is highly important for the development and prosperity of each country, while it is impossible for a country to develop unless there is a connection between education, science and business. In this sense, I think that the education and science are a priority and major instrument for achieving competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy,” Tsvetan Tsvetanov commented further.
